The Mission of Stoney Creek Canada Flag Day is: 1. To involve citizens in an event which promotes the Canadian flag, fellowship, and pride in Stoney Creek. 2. To increase public awareness of the Canadian flag 3. To provide education about the Canadian flag and its inception 4. To promote the use of the Canadian flag within the community 5. To celebrate the heritage of Stoney Creek, through links with such community activities as the Battle of Stoney Creek. |
